Mary Rice School’s annual sports day was held on 28th January, 2026 at school field. The event was a grand success, which students from classes PG – Pre voc participating in various sports and athletic events. The programme has been started by welcome speech of Sister Gauri. The event was inaugurated by honourable Principal Br. Ruvan, Headmistress Anita, who lead the candle & declared the games open with a opening speech. The student showcased their skills in drill event with the music playing on the background. After this main event of sports took place like relay race,100 m marathon, obstacle race, balancing race, shot put etc. The performance of all student was impressive, displaying their discipline and hardwork. At the end teacher and parents also participated in a friendly match , entertaining the crowd. 

 The event concluded with prize distribution of sports event, exhibition, pithe puli uthsav & vote of thanks. It was a day filled with excitement, sportsmanship & fun.
